'56 Wiper Button.

Does the '56 Corvette windshield wiper knob have a button in the center. I think the '57 does but am not sure about the '56. My'56 has just a plain knob with no button. There ins't a bezel either. Incorrect? Thanks

My '56 does not have a button in the middle of the wiper knob. Just a plain knob.

Steve, I believe the inner button is for windshield washers when the cars were equipped with electric pumps. Short answer - 56s have no button and foot pump for washers. Steve

Yep, no button on 56s. They have a foot pump, on the left, up above the dimmer switch.
