What kind of '67 P-O-P is this ?

Check out the Protect-O-Plate pic of this convertible # 07711 (link below) -- it contains only the VIN and the owner's name and address, all done by the address-o-graph machine; no tape applied by the dealer.

Complete absence of the other P-O-P codes that we normally expect.

I believe that it's a replacement Protecto-Plate. I think that these were issued by Chevrolet Zone offices to replace lost originals or, even, upon transfer of ownership if a portion of the original warranty remained upon sale of the vehicle.

I think it's also too early for the alleged big-block-hood-on-a-small-block period of time, despite his allegation.

He also claims the car has F-41, which was only available on L-71/L-88; more eBay "marketing"

For a $25 fee the second owner could get the remainder of the warrantee and was issued a P-O-P like this. I have the same one for my '69. I paid the $25 in 1971 and got this type of P-O-P.
