65 C2 Coupe Dog Leg panel

At the bottom were the dog leg panel meets the carpet does the carpet go over top of the panel and get glued there, with the bottom screw going though the carpet. Or is it the other way around with the carpet under the panel.
    Thanks Mike

    Mike,
By dog-leg panel, I going to assume that you mean what is most offen referred to as the kick panel. The carpet obviously goes under the sill plates and continues forward toward the firewall. The kick panel is installed OVER the carpet so that the kick panel can be removed without disturbing the carpet.

Hope this explanation is clear and answers your question.

    Good luck with your '65.

Mike, The rear quarter panel goes over the carpet in this case as well.
