george: bad news. only pump that will work is a corvetrte, 1966 or 1967, for judging that is. the vet pumt outlets to exh manifolds come off the bottom of the pump whereas pass cars of that era come off back. been there and done that. only part i know of common to chevys is the pump pully wcich waqS DEFINITLY USED on 67 pickups sold new in calif, 250 ci six bandgers that is. good luck , mike

      George----

1966 and 1967 Corvette AIR pumps were uniquely Corvette. The difference is that the output fittings for the Corvette pump emanate from a "T" fitting attached to the bottom of the pump case. The output fittings for virtually all, if not all, other applications are located on the backing plate of the pump. The same backing plate casting is used for Corvette as well as other applications, but the bosses for the fittings on the backing plate for the Corvette application are either undrilled or are plugged with soft plugs.

The numbers which you've provided don't match any finished part that was ever available from GM. They may be part numbers for castings or other components that were part of finished assemblies. As such, they may have been used for many applications and don't, necessarily, identify any particular finished assembly.

The "CFB2" may identify the foundry and mold number for the part. I have never seen a "CFB". Usually, it is "CFD" which represents Central Foundry Division. If the part that you are getting this from is the cast iron backing plate of the pump, then it definitely should be "CFD". If it's off the aluminum housing of the pump, then it may refer to "Central Foundry-Bedford", the location of one of GM's aluminum foundries.

If you need AIR parts for your car, try J&D corvettes, in Bellflower, California. Great source for used, rust-free original parts. 1 800 838 8353. If you can be specific about what you want, they will check their yard for it. Best source I have ever seen for original parts.
