I'm new to your organization, and have been reading through the technical discussions and find them fascinating. It is nice to have a place to come to for this kind of sage and rapid advice. I've got a neglected 66 BB that is coming back to life after a couple of decades in the family barn. Hello to all.

I'll add my welcome to Craig's. I've got a 66 SB that is undergoing a glacially slow, body-off restoration in my garage. I don't know anything about the BB-specific stuff, but I'm happy to answer any other 66-related questions that I can.

I too am a recent enlistee. This club is the best! I purchased the Judging Guide for my car and highly recommend you do the same for your 66 (if you haven't already). It's absolutely the best $30 you will spend on your car.

The assistance you will get from those here is without peer.

Steve, welcome.

Some of the first advice I got from this board was to go to the Store (on this board) and buy the judging guide, AIM (assembly instruction manual), and service manual for your year model. With those publications and the help from this board you will be able to move small mountains.

Steve...Let me add my welcome. As a 19 year member, I have found it to be the best source of Corvette knowledge in existence. As a new owner of a '66, a SHP 327/350, I will be looking for info on that year, and hopefully in touch and meeting some of you one of these days. That doesn't include Craig, since we've met. A good guy and a great source of knowledge also.

You will not find another tech. board that will match the quality and patience of this goup of very knowledgeble people.
