our 57 250 hp 210 post, whose engine i removed and disassembled(it had never been apart) contains M logo'd head bolts(the exposed one-- i din't pull valve covers to inspect the longer head bolts).Perhaps YOU should scour the Lyle junkyards for CC logo'd head bolts. believe the abreviation stands for cheaters choke. mikie- Top

If you want a serious answer as to what the M means:
Depending of the shape of the M - pointed top M is Michigan Screw Products Company, or Midland Screw Corporation, both had the same logo. Rounded top - like a lower case m is Mac-it Parts Company.
Now the real question is what good does the information do?
