    C1 Trunk/Deck Lid Tower

4)four 3/8" bolts are installed to hold the trunk/deck lid springs in the towers. Thread length is 1 1/4" on one end and 2" on the other...Question is which length goes up? and does the top have two nuts and the bottom one self locking nut? ( best I can tell, the AIM only shows one nut,top and bottom? )

    Dennis,
The long thread goes down and the locking nut goes on the bottom. The two thin nuts go either side of the trunk hinge bracket. You will find a thin wrench a real plus here as it is hard to get a standard wrench in between the washer on top of the spring and the bracket.
