    C-2 Heads

    Is it possible to have a pair of heads with different casting dates? These are in a 1965 396, #3856208's dated E-22-5 and F-1-5. does this happen?

      Certainly, as a matter of fact it is more common to have them different than the same.

          Wayne ... further to different dates is it at all likely that a 67 big block L71 may have a "391" and an "840" cylinder head?? Serial number 20909.
