    C-2 Al Knoch Convertible Installation Video...

    Has anyone purchased the VHS video from Al Knoch for do it yourself installation of a midyear convertible top? I am thinking about purchasing it and would like to know how you rate the tape. Serious replies only, thank you. Patrick

      I rented it from Corvette Central 2 years ago when I installed the new top on my '64. Great help. I put a TV in the garage and followed along after watching it once or twice and reading the instructions. The only error I recall was the failure to cover installation of the weatherstripping end caps that screw into the rear bow. My only regret is not taking as much time as I should have to properly configure the frame before installing the top.

          Thanks Mark, I like your idea of have the TV in the garage! I already have the top, next week I'll order the installation kit and the video. Patrick

              Hope it goes well. I had one helper and we did the job in a weekend w/o major difficulty.
