    Auto Transport Companies.......

    Hi Guys,

    We are considering going to the Orlando meet in January. I wanted to know who I should use to transport the car to Orlando. Also, if anyone has had any experience with these companies what should I look for. Thanks for all the help.

    I want to commend everyone that is involved in making the NCRS Gallery possible. What a great way to show others what the NCRS is all about.

          You can try Reliable which has 4 terminals, LA, Phoenix, Detroit and Orlando so they can get you from anywhere and are competitive in price to most. I have used them in the past and at present have a car in a Detroit warehouse waiting to come to Orlando area. Phone 1-800/528-5709 for a quote. They had a $250,000 Bentley on the last transport that brought me a car. Almost exclusive transported for GM, Ford and Chrysler and have hundreds of transporter on the road.               The folks at Intercity Motor Lines have transported for me and thousands of others. There may be an equal but there are none finer. They are in Warren, Mass but routinely cover the entire USA.

                  I just used Intercity Lines a few weeks ago. I would consider it an average experience. Guy delivering the car was great. The people at the office did not keep me informed as I thought they should. I had to complain to the manager at the office about not keeping me informed. That got some action. Car arrived in good condition. Had very expensive cars on truck. Driver was very careful.

                      Chuck, I used Passport out of St. Louis a few years ago and for an enclosed carrier they were very reasonable and kept me constantly informed of their pickup and delivery schedule. They are comparable to Reliable. Other people that have bought and shipped cars from me have been happy as well. Chuck Lyman

                          Horseless Carriage out of New Jersey moved my 65' from there to Calif.
                          Called me everyday and the driver was great, polite and clean.
