C2 with AC radiator shroud removal

    Need a little help
I am planning to replace my radiator shroud on my 66 small block with AC. It appears removing the fan/clutch assy and upper radiator hose will not be sufficient to remove existing shroud. Will I have to remove or loosen the radiator support and radiator and open up some fittings my AC system? On my 66 2 refrigerant lines run thru the radiator support and connect to the condenser and drier which are mounted on the radiator support. If I have to open the AC system I'll defer this project to a later time.

    Anybody been there done that?

I think that there is enough give in the lines to move the top of the radiator support. Or you could proceed by removing the RH upper A frame which will give enough room to remove the shroud.
