Why is it that NCRS always makes me remove my floormats when Flight or Bowtie judging when they were installed as original equipment from the factory?

So the judges can inspect the carpets; the factory placed the mats in the storage area behind the seats, and the dealer prep guy installed them in the footwells, but they need to be removed to fully inspect the carpets.- Top

John, That is where I kept them,in the storage area behind the seats. I don't have a problem of the judges removing them so they can look underneath them, but my point is that they are part of the car as they were in the car at final point of production and yet the judges never look or judge them as part of the interior. I just don't get it, but if I didn't have my original radio I would loose points! Bob Beck- Top
