I checked wit the local Carquest on the same question and the 63 & 64 Corvette break shoes are the same as the 63 / 64. Impala They are available at any good parts store.

        Re: Which type?

The shoes were for the common breaks. (not for J56 replacement)
Don't remember the shoe brand but they may have been Raybestus (spelling ???)

Bill, thank you. I just located an NOS set in the original box for a really great price.

Actually, they fit more than that. I've been chasing the hardware kits locally, so I had to find what has the common shoes.

                63-65 Corvette
                60-70 Caprice, Impala, Belair, Biscayne
                67-70 Chevy C10, P10

                Front shoe 11 x 2-3/4
                R227, various other xx227 numbers

These are the standard non-metallic shoes.

BTW, anyone have an extra set of emergency brake levers and hardware for the rear brakes?
