    C2 Delco Remy dist. cap

How can I tell the difference between a D310 and a D308. I know that the D310 is for fuelly's, and therefore the towers are shorter for clearance. I have what I believe is a D308, But how can I tell without comparing the two side by side? Any help would be appreciated. Brian

Put a micrometer on the outside edge of any outer plug wire tower. If it's the D308 'tall' dist cap, you should measure about 0.900 inches from the outside lip to the upper flange. If it's the D310 'shortie' dist cap, it'll be significantly less distance (around 3/4-inch)....

Jack, I don't have a micrometer could this be done using a ruler, say that goes to 1/64 of an inch?
Do I measure from the innermost part of the tower?

Jack I measured to the outside edge I get about 58/64", it looks like I have the "tall" one.
        Thanks for your help-Brian
