    1962 steel wheels

I need to replace my wheels on my 62 with stock steel wheels and hub caps.

    1) What years of 15x5 steel wheels could I put on my 62?

    2) Were the 1962 hub caps only avalable in 1962?

    Thanks

Hubcaps are roughly the same from late 59 to 62. (With a few minor differences) What you need to look for are the 'rock holes' 56 to early 59 did not have rock holes. I believe they are still being reproduced. Eric

Mike: I believe the repro wheel covers and spinners currently available are quite well done and will "judge well". That said, I'd want to look at one of the wheels that Eric notes from the CC catalog before I made that particular investment. Best, Dennis

          Bear in mind....

there were two different wheels and wheelcovers then. Stock/base (15x5 with full wheelcovers) and optional RPO 276, wide wheels, with center cover only caps.
