A few years back, 1996 or 1997, I attended a corvette show in Farmington or Simsbury Connecticut. It was held on the grounds of some large corporation, I think, and was very low key. I would like to attend again, but am having difficulty getting information. Does anyone remember the details? I don't know if it was an NCRS event or not. Thanks.

The meet you are inquiring about was an NCRS Regional meet, hosted by the Northeast Chapter of the NCRS. It was usually held in October, over the Columbus Day weekend. The complex was sold, and the new owners decided that a Corvette meet didn't do anything for them.
Anyway, the Northeast Regional Meet this year is being held in Woburn, MA, July 8-11.

The Northeast Chapter held its meet this year on April 18th in Meriden, Ct. Very low key as you said. I'm a member of that chapter, nice bunch of folks. I don't think anyone else is on-line though. Are you intending to go to Boston in July? I'm going from the Hartford area. I also go to area cruises, Let me know if you are interested.Comment
