I would imagine the fraud has cleared itself up by now with a 7 yr statute of limitations on such things. If there are no titles for older cars in NY I would guess that might be part of the reason why we see so many fine collector cars still available in that that are not completely rusted out yet. They could be stolen elsewhere and then sold to any unsuspecting mope in NY and the paper work would be easy. It may never surface as a stolen car.

There is a 59 for sale in Ontario Canada, before anyone spends any money, email me. The Title may not be clear. (2 different sellers took deposits from about 6 times, lotsa people want their money back) Bob
