    C3 3x2 Holley date question

we are adding the final restoration pieces to our 68 427/400 HP / 4sp car
... engine build date is T0506IM .. body build date is J15 .... the center
carb is believed to be original ( model 4055-1) dated 841 .. the outboards
( model 3659) are dated 911 ..they all work just fine but we wish to move
to the next level of restoration .... so we need to know what is the
'acceptable NCRS time frame for these carbs ... I believe the carbs were
installed in St Louis but I am not sure of the window of manufacture that
is acceptable for NCRS judging .. is there a place we can trade these out
for the correctly dated units ???

Re: C3 3x2 Holley date question

    Dale -

A week or two to a couple of months is "typical", but the NCRS "window" allows up to six months prior to the car's build date (carbs were installed at St. Louis).
