Looking for old 56/57 Corvette ads

Does any have, or know where I can get an old ad showing a 56/57 Cascade Green Corvette?

I am looking on ebay, but have not found what I am looking for yet.

Like the TV programs of the era, most magazine advertising was in B&W. Your best bet would be old original dealership literature. Some of it has been reproduced but of that which I have, it only shows a copper colored car.

Dave: Not sure if this is what your after but here it is. I have a hard cover book called 'CORVETTE The Senuous American' Inside is a fold out (20X16) pic of that car (1956). Same pic is on page 8&9. If you have this book look it up. Looks great. Brian

Dave; I have an add that I purchased last year as a 56. It shows a vette and a man and woman taking the top off. The heading at the top of the add states: "NEW CORVETTE'S A QUICK-CHANGE ARTIST!". The add mentions the new v-8 and removable hard top and roll-up windows, new competition steering wheel, new syncromesh transmision, and other new styling changes. The car is blue-green and the girl has a blue bonnet on her head. In the back-ground can be seen skies, old license plates, a rool of wire, and rake and shovel. On the back is an add for a Johnson sea-horse in Holiday Bronze.(And this is clasic)at the top say's: "There's a Gay New Sparkle on the Water". also in color-----I can't tell which one I like best! Is this the add you refer to? I'll try and find exactly where I purchased it. David

Dave on the cover of the Restorer 1985 is my 57 Csacade green, color is right on if that's what your looking for??? Back then I was the only person that showed and had one then in NCRS in the west that I know of.
