C2 Side Exhaust Pipes - Alum vs Steel

Can anyone recommend the best side exhaust pipes for my 66 big block, alum or steel?

If you are not concerned about full judging points - I run a set of StainlessWorks 2 1/2 ID side pipes for my 427/425hp that fit under the stock covers that I like quite a bit.

Pete-- How much of a judging hit do you think the Stainless Works pipes would take?

        Don't guess....

crack open your copy of the NCRS Judging Reference Manual (the 'white' book), turn to Section 4 (Standard Deductions), Rule 11 (SS Replacement Components) and read the answer(s). You'll find it depends on how much of the exhaust system is SS vs. factory original material....
