    Looking for a frame for a 67'

I have been looking for a 67' corvette for a while now and I haven't had much luck. I was wondering if anyone knows of a company that remanufactures 63-67 Corvette Frames. I really want to build my own Vette (as I imagin you all do), but I need a frame to get started. If anyone knows anything please help, if you could. Thank You for your time.

    Respectively,

Dan Adie (adie@kwic.com) had a complete rolling chassis for sale a couple of mos ago. Try him. Also, Sunshine Corvettes in Florida (they advertise in Hemmings).

        Carlo,

I read your previous post, and now this one as well.

You will be MUCH better off purchasing a car that is as absolutely complete as possible. If you want to find out how to spend $100,000 on a Corvette that will be worth $25,000, then do it by buying the car one piece at a time. Even if you want to try for an L-88 copy, buy a big block 67 with everything but the motor, and make an L-88 style motor (which alone will cost $10,000 plus) to drop in.

The cheapest Corvette to buy in the one that someone else has restored and is losing money on as they sell it to you.

Since you are trying your first car project of any kind, and money seems to be an issue, you may want to consider a less expensive Chevy like a Camaro or Chevelle, where both the purchase price and parts are cheaper. That way, if you find out that you don't like building and repairing cars, you have a lot less money into it.
