    Window goes half way up

My 1960 vette had power windows. I put the motors in this weekend and the right one works great. The drivers one goes half way up and seems to move forward too soon and sticks. It works fine if I loosen the pillar screws and run it with the pillar loose. I have tried every adjustment and greased all of the tracks. Any suggestions?

even if the tracks are properly adjusted, most PW equipped C-1s will have to have the engine running for enough voltage to energize the p.w. motors. assume you had the engine running at fast idle. Also, my 61 needs an occasional shot of areosol teflon that acts as an invisible lubricant. good luck, mike
