I have a couple of questions about correct configuration. Can someone help?
1. On a 67 Power Steering car, should I paint the tierod ends, including the ball (knuckle) where the grease fitting is semigloss black?
2. Should the "plug" in the open hole on the steering knuckle be placed in the hole top-down or from the bottom up? The 67 assemply manual shows it from top-down but the judges have told me bottom-up at recent meets.
3. On a convertable top, there is a "wire-on" trim strip secured by stainless caps with flanged edges. How long should this trim strip be? or how far past the seam should it extent? I've been told 5" but I can find that documented anywhere in the judging book or the assembly manual.
Thanks,
Steve
