Can someone please outline which headlamps were originally installled in 1973-82 Corvettes, by year? These would be the quad system lamps, approx. 4" diameter. Were they power beams (Guide)? GE? Wagner? Westinghouse. Were some high beams halogens? Thanks for any clarification.

As their are some grey areas that are still being observed this is a general answer. Low beams 73-82 Guide Power beam but Wagner made some of them with an ink stamp on the back but say Guide on the front. 1973-1978 Power Beam highs.Halogen high beams started early in 79 model year ( Nov. 78) thru82 were General Electric and Wagner. 1978 is the year where other brands have been reported .Lyle

Sorry, I must be slow on the uptake here. For a 1973 L-82 coupe built in June of 1973, what type and manufacturer should all four (4) of my head lights be?

Gregg All four must have Power Beams logo in the center of the headlamp and Guide at the lower edge in 1973. Who made them is not that important if they appear correct. No other logo in the front face. Guide and Wagner are two brands I would look for. LyleLyle
