C2 instrument lenses

Are all replacement instrument lenses plastic, or do tempered glass ones exist?

I have recently aquired the correct "glass" lenses from the local GM dealer. I haven't got the part numbers handy but I can supply them if you require.

Yes, please. I will need lenses for the entire instrument cluster and the clock also.

The numbers on the boxes I have are: 6407929 small lens / 6407930 large lens. They are definatly glass. Hope this works in the USA. Worked well here(Canada). I didn't order the clock lens,I'll see if it is available tommorow. Good luck, Glenn

Just a note. In 1963 the tach and speedo were plastic the smaller lenses were glass. The plastic does tend to discolor in time. 1964 - 1967 all lenses were glass.

check E-Bay; click on PARTS and then tyep in "1963 Corvette" in the SEARCH box and you will get about 240 entries - there is a vendor selling glass lenses for the entire instrument cluster

In '63 ALL the instrument lens were plastic.
