Hi everyone. My 1962 corvette windshield wipers have 2 cables that go from the wiper transmission to the wiper arm units. One of my cables got all twisted up and has to be replaced.Does anyone know who can replace the cable? If you do can you give me a name and phone number?

    Thanks.............John

They really aren't that difficult to replace yourself. The local steel cable wholesaler told me he could only sell me a 500 ft roll of cable, but when I told him I only needed 3 feet he simply cut off a piece and gave it to me.

I used a cable stop from Home Depot. It was slightly larger than the original, so I had to trim it slightly to fit in the groove in the pulley. The one on the center pulley didn't matter. If you are getting cable, try to get mild steel like the original vs stainless. The mild steel is a bit more flexible, though either will probably work fine if the ss is all that is available.
