I would like to ask a favor of fellow 1964 car owners with known factory steel wheels, can you pop a hubcap off or lower your spare and send me a digital photo of an original steel wheel, I would greatly appreciate it. If I could get the backside and frontside that would be greatly appreciated...during bead blasting I just discovered that one of my wheels do not match the other 4? I either have the original spare and 4 incorrect wheels, the wrong spare with the correct wheels or a mismatch set? They differ mostly in the spider area? they all are chevy 5 lug, double knubs at the schrader valve, some have the cone one does not, all are KH dated in the proper time frame? Please help....

Re: C2 - 1964 - Steel wheels
The cone is trying to describe the inside wheel prior to the so-called safety step in the rim to keep the tire mounted instead of falling off when flat...so I am told....the one wheel that I think is a passenger whee; on my car has only two raised areas to accept a dog dish, the 64 I think has three raised areas, the passenger car wheel has a flat spider area, the corvette wheel has a raised area between the lugs instead of flat.Dino Lanno- Top

The front are in great shape but the back have a fair amount of rust.
