Heat Riser Valve

Can anyone tell me if the 66 big block 425 hp cars with side exhaust had the heat riser valve installed?

no, just the spacer.

That is incorrect. The ONLY car that did not get the valve was the L88. Of course they did not build any L88's for '66, but it is shown in the AIM and it (the L88) is shown with the spacer. All other engines for '66 got the valve including the L72, no matter what exhaust system. (My Bowtie L72 with factory side exhaust had the valve)
