    Exhaust manifold bolt torque on C1

    I had one of the exhaust manifolds off on my '57. The C1 servicing guide says the bolts should be torqued at 18-22 ft. lbs. My 1957 Chev shop manual says 18-22 ft.lbs. in one place and 25-35 ft.lb. in another. What is the correct torque?

      I guess Im not book smart because I just get them tight.
