    Wiring Harness 67 corvette

I have two wiring questions that are pretty easy but I don't want to make a mistake and fry my new wiring harness.

Question 1: I have a ground wire (black) that appears to go to the voltage regulator. This wire is part of the main wiring harness. It appears that this wire would be mounted on one of the three holes that mount the voltage regulator. Where is this wire attached???

Question 2: The horn relay consists of five wires. The two that connect from the bottom I am not worried about. This leaves three wires. There is a red thick 10g wire that looks as it should attach to the left terminal (as I face it when mounted)it is labled bat. In addition there is a red wire that becomes black and should attach to a terminal (it has the same end as the red wire. The last wire is completely black and has an end on it that will not allow it to attach to the right terminal but rather it looks as if it should attach to the radiator support.

I would really appreciate anyones assisstance and or pictures of these two ares.

    Keith -

Q1 - That ground wire attaches to the baseplate of the voltage regulator, under the same screw that attaches the radio capacitor; it's shown in the A.I.M. in UPC6, Sheet B4. The voltage regulator attaching screws go into rubber well-nuts in fiberglass, so the voltage regulator requires its own dedicated ground wire.

Q2 - Both red wires attach to the screw terminals on the horn relay - separate screws, but it's a common electrical point, which feeds battery power to the rest of the car; doesn't matter which wire goes under which screw. The black portion of the red wire is a fusible link. The other black wire is another ground (which actually is the other end of the ground wire for the voltage regulator and all the front lamps and headlight motors) - it attaches under the head of the screw that attaches the horn relay to the radiator support (not shown in the A.I.M.).
