Does exhaust manifold #3846563 that's still available from GM look anything like the original?

it looks the same just has extra casting numbers on it in different places. you can gring them off and shot peen the manifold but a good eye will spot it.

The basic configuration is identical. However, minor aspects such as the features that John mentioned as well as other minor casting features may be different. On the "plus" side, these manifolds will be NEW and not rust pitted, cracked, repaired, warped or weakened by thousands of heating/cooling cycles. If it were me, I'd go with the new manifolds and take the minor judging point deduction.
