Ok, thanks for everones help. I replaced the metering plates, front and back and no more internal leak. I also replaced all of the gaskets, acc. pump. Now the problem is that when the car sits for a day or two there is gas at the bottom of the manifold. It looks like ti is coming from the center and rear float bowl. I have removed the carbs three times now and replaced the gasket with no luck. Any Ideas?

the gas is boiling in the float bowls after shut down. lower the float levels about 1/16" to 1/8" and see what happens. the best fix for this is to block the heat riser crossover in the intake but you loose your heat for the automatic choke.
