69 A/C Drier Color

According to the Flight Judging Manual the A/C drier is painted black. Is this correct and if so, what type of black, gloss, semi-flat, etc?

Yes, A/C dryer bottles were black. Paint is semi-gloss, not so shiney you can see your reflection.... Very similar to fan blade sheen.

Jack, thanks for your response. Any suggestions at to want brand, type of paint to use? Is Krylon semi-gloss OK? Also, what color should the bracket bands holding the drier be.
