Differential Carrier bushing bolt size

Anyone know the dimensions of this bolt? My local corvette shop says it's just a grade 8 7/16" x 2 7/8" bolt. The bolt that I removed was larger - the bushing split and the bolt got crroked and rubbed against the mount.

One more Q - anyone know the washer diameter size that sits above the upper bushing?

I'm moving on Friday and need to get this taken care of ASAP!

The original bolt, GM#454949, was a 7/16-14 X 2-3/4" bolt and of GM 300M material (SAE grade . Sometimes, folks install a longer bolt to aid in the installation of new bushings which must be compressed. A longer bolt will not hurt anything, but it's not absolutely necessary. You can install the bolt with new cushions using the stock bolt. But, if you're going to get a hardware store bolt, it might not be a bad idea to get a 3" bolt (grade 8, of course).

The washer originally used was GM #3790768. This washer has a 15/32" center hole, and OD of 1-1/8" and a thickness of 1/8". It is phosphate-finished.
