    68 Frame Ground Cable Question

On my 68 327 L79 on the passenger side FRAME motor mount extension to which the actual motor mount is bolted, there is a very large ground cable approximately the thickness of a finger, bolted to the frame.
I am ASSUMING the other end goes to the motor or starter to make a ground but don't know exactly where it should be attached.
Can anyone shed any light on where it should be attached. I had made a written note about the frame location but somehow (many years ago) forgot to make note of where the other end goes.
Thank you in advance for any help.

    Kurt-----

One end of the ground cable mounts to the hole in the front inside of the right side motor mount frame bracket using a 3/8" bolt. The other end mounts under the starter forward support bracket where it attaches to the engine lower block.

Kurt the battery cable connects to the engine block. The bolt that attaches the starter motor brace to the block is used to attach it. The cable is goes on top of the brace.
