65 clutch

I just installed the clutch and transmission in my 65 to finish up the rolling chassis before I drop the body back on. How easy is it to pull back on the clutch crossshaft arm on the chassis? I can't do it by hand and since I have not done this before, I would like someone to tell me that this is normal and I won't be able to disengage the clutch by hand. Thanks!

OK, someone is telling you that it's normal. You won't be able to pull back on the clutch crossshaft arm by hand. In fact, you might not be able to do it with your foot on the pedal were it not for the 2 lever arms---the one on the cross shaft AND the one created by the pedal arm.
