You gotta love that American Flag on Saddam's face on that statue before it was pulled down. We owe our soldiers huge, this is a proud day for history. Craig

              Craig,

The "soldier" who put the flag over Sadam's face was a US Marine. :-)

God bless our service men and wome.

I would like to take the time to let everyone know that I am a fairly new NCRS member (joined to learn about the Mid-year convertible before I bought one, I am still looking if anyone has one to sell...) and I am in the Armed Services (US Navy to be exact). It is really great to see the tremendous support of true Americans such as yourselves without any solicitation at all. I have been in the Middle East for about 3 months now and seeing all the negative publicity in the beginning was disheartening. The kind of support that is posted above is really what it is all about....no need to see it on TV, we all share the moments like these with as many as we possible can. Thank you

Re: God Bless America and our brave soldiers

Wes - I get highly irritated watching the anti-war protestors on TV....what do they think would happen if we didn't do something about barbarians with WMD like this....boggles my mind. I live it Tucson (work for IBM) and I can tell you that I don't know anyone at work that isn't in full support of our brave men and women over there, and support the cause. Of course, we are working, not out protesting. I think most of the negative protest is coming from people that aren't working and helping make our country the great place to live it is. It is so easy to think we have it tough at times in our daily grind, but putting it in perspective our worst days are thousands of times better than a typical day in these dictatorial countries....we don't know the meaning of hard times like you are seeing first hand. Tucson is the home of Raytheon, it just happens that our IBM site and Raytheon share a business complex here, and I work in a building right next door, and I always feel proud of our technology and the level of precision the Tomahawks have achieved and helped win this war without massive destruction of the Iraqi citizens and private sector buildings, leaving them as much as possible to rebuild. You can all feel very proud of your accomplishements, my hat is off to you and all of our brave Americans and British over there!!! Craig
