Three Questions:
I've purchased a quart of ermine white in DuPont's current replacement product for laquer to use for touching-up small chips and dings in the original paint. Will I need to use hardener mixed in for these small areas?
Also, the windshield grilles on my '66 were chromed by the 3rd owner back in '73. I'd like to paint them - so how should I prep (treat? strip? blast?) the chrome before paining?
Can anyone suggest a mfg that'd still make gloss dark green (code 430) interior paint for '66? I pinged one paint company mentioned here on the board that makes spray bombs, and they said they could only mix the paint if I sent them a sample to match. Any resources for the right color in the correct formula without going through thd matching process?
