Re: '72 Engine suffix code sticker
Their are very few of thease stickers that survied. I seen one on a 72 LT-1 in Gonzales at the regional and it was slid down and crooked but questioned if it was original as it looked to new to me. If I had an original I would photocopy it in color and install the copy so that the original is saved for interested NCRS judges to see up close and not lost or damaged. A known original 73 sticker was lost from a Bow tie car somewhere in is travels.Lyle

Re: As usual, thanks for the great advise fellas!
Al,
For what it's worth, it's usually considered "bad etiquette" to delete your post, especially once someone has replied to it. Now in the Archive we will have the replies floating around without any initial message. Your post had nothing offensive or worth deleting, so it really wasn't necessary.
I've often wish John W would turn off the feature which allows posts to be deleted, but that's just me.
I'm not trying to be mean, just informative.
Thanks,

Re: As usual, thanks for the great advise fellas!
I didn't mean to delete my post, that was truly accidental. While working on my thank you post (and talking on the phone) I realized that I spelled the word advice incorrectly, went to delete the post, and realized I deleted the wrong one. It was too late! I apologize and I didn't mean to offend anyone. It's that darn Virgo in me!'72 Top Flight Coupe- Top

Al,
Some think that by deleting a post, you will delete the whole thread. Then, a thread that seems to be "done" can be cleaned up.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work this way.
Anyway, I'll talk to you more via e-mail.
