78 Cruise Master Electrical Harness Connection

I'm looking for any bright ideas or suggestions on how to keep the connection of the engagement switch and harness connector together. It's a typical black plastic connector for the harness, but the switch end is an odd spade looking connection with three wire leads. It slips together nicely, but slips apart just as easily. There is no slack in either end, so it's difficult to work and they run directly under the steering column, leaving little room for my big hands.

Black electrical tape hasn't held the ends together and the harness connection ends have been crimped together as much as possible to tighten the fit. Has anyone ever used some type of putty to hold everything together? Any other ideas?

    Thanks.

Use a small nylon strap, available in iny hardware store (usually in a package of 100 or so, wrap it around both connectors between the wires and pull tight. Cut off the excess and you are done.
