How is this done? Any tricks or advice? Can the whole job be done from underneath the car? (Or, am I looking at some gorilla with welding equipment in hand climbing all over my fender?)

gorilla can weld new tray in place from below although its a simple task if the body is off the frame. good luck with the monkeys. mike -

Make sure the gorilla puts a wet rag over your gas line. If I were doing it, I'd probably do it from underneath after removing the splash pan.Comment
