Need best 1967 whitewall tire for judging

I am coming to the end of my restoration and I would like to know what tires to buy for my 67. What size whitewall should it be? 7/8" What brand is the most like original. My tank sticker (from what I can tell says whitewall tires)Where should I buy them from? Coker? I want a good looking tire that really is not going to have miles put on them for the most part.

The correct original tires are described by manufacturer and type on page 50 of your TM&JG, which also indicates a 5/8" whitewall width; assuming you're not going after a home equity loan to get a set of original non-DOT tires for judging, the various Standard Deductions for tire types that deviate from the originals are shown in detail in the "Corvette Judging Reference Manual", available from the NCRS Store on this site. That information can help you decide what to buy and the level of deduction for each choice.

Just call your Corvette repro tire dealer and tell them you want a "No Deduction" set of tires for your car! Good luck.
