Two different choke kits were used for 1979 Corvette carburetors, depending upon specific application. However, both are GM-discontinued.

I thought that you were referring to the choke assembly mounted on the carburetor. However, based upon the picture, you're actually talking about the carburetor air heat assembly. This is a 2-part assembly consisting of a plate and a cover. Both the cover, GM #367135, and the plate, GM #3946832, are GM-discontinued. The connecting elbow, GM #372586, is also discontinued. You can still obtain the duct, GM #1260631.

I don't know of a source for these parts. However, I think that the same parts were used on other Chevrolet models, particularly trucks of the period, so a used source might work.

Thanks again Joe. Yes it is the driver's side heat stove I am referring to. I thought it might be GM rather than Corvette so I will keep looking at 350cid applications.
