My 1961 steering wheel is need of restoration. Is it worth restoring or should I replace it with a repo? Anyone know of a good source for restoring a steering wheel? Thanks, Joe DeLuca #37862

joe; this fellow Gary's steering wheel resto shop in carlisle pa @7172435646, did the wheel in my 61 and the judges and I loved it.I have no problem recommending gary. turn around time back in 99 was about 4 weeks. good luck mike -

I agree with Mike, I also used Gary's Steering Wheel service on my 60 model.
He did a super job, very pleased with his work. I had a couple of cracks and the grain was all but gone, looks better then new.Comment

Gary also did my steering wheel for my 54 and my 60, excellent work. It cost me $395 for the '60, and $270 for the '54. Don't go with the repro, stay original.Comment
