re the mylar sticker on the drivers door. Question was about the weights listed and the response was that they were GROSS figures with passengers, baggage, fuel, etc. That sounded right to me at the time. But got to thinking, and for me that is a job Then if this is correct should not all C3 of the same year and body type have the same GROSS weight regardless of options? The automatic is 54 pounds heavier then the 4-speed. So the 4-speed car will be lighter thus it should be able to carry 54 pounds more "cargo". But the cars have a lower GROSS weight. Appears that as the options go down, and the cars weight goes down, the GROSS weight also goes down. The logic seems, to me at least, you would have a base weight and a Gross weight for the year/body style. Then as you add options increasing the weight of the car you would loose an equal amount of cargo capacity. Now I am more confused then ever on these numbers
