    Aluminum Valve Cover Clean Up

    I'm looking to clean up a set of finned aluminum valve covers that are somewhat tarnished. What is the best way to restore them without sending them out?

      I just used a good aluminum wheel cleaner and then scrubed them with a Scotch Brite Pad. Came out real nice. If you "blast" them or use a polishing wheel they can come out too shiney.

          Cameo aluminum pot cleaner and a stiff scrub brush.
