66 Restoration

Okay, I've got a 66 garage queen that hasn't been run in years. The one thing I do know that's wrong is the rear bearings (78000 miles). So, any ideas on fixing that and any pointers on what it'll take to get her going again? Any ideas would help.

Bair's (Pennsylvania) and Van Steel (Florida) do a super job on trailing arms and bearings.

Have not used the services of Van Steel. With Bair's all you have to do is remove the brake caliper from the control arm and send the whole thing to Bair's and they will refurbish the complete assembly. Bair's will also send you the wooden boxes to ship the units to them in. There is nothing like runing down the interstate knowing that you are not going to have any bearing and runout problems.

I sent my 65 to Van Steel. Excellant job. I would recommend them. Nice turn a round.

Van Steel gets my vote , excellent craftsmanship, homest to a fault and very professional.
