I have a set of screws from Mid America that are black with the shoulder washers but a different length ...so I went to the NCRS guide and it says chrome with the washers..Is Mid America wrong again?? Not a big deal but while I am into it should the u-nuts for the two top screws be black , natural or are they right with the present over spray?

The screws should be chrome with the lowest fastener, (almost behind the seatbelt retractor), being a hex head sheet metal screw with washer of a much larger size. From my observations the "U" nuts are black oxide and may exhibit body color overspray.
Don't tuck the carpet under the 1/4 trim panel it is intended to flap over it and is retained with one screw, I have always thought this was strange
