C2 mirror glass removal

I need the boards help on how to remove both the rearview and outside mirrors.(glass)
And also a month ago or so someone posted a business' name and address that would resilver them and also I believe restamp them.Could someone please post the address and any comments on the price and turnaround time....Thanks

Soak in laquer thinner for a couple of days.

The outside mirror has a circular retainer which holds the glass in. You need to find the ends of the retainer, and with a pick or other sharp tool, pry the ends out, careful not to chip the edges of the glass. Once the retainer is out, the glass can be removed easily. Once you have the glass out, it's a good chance to adjust the pivot as well. If it's loose it can be tighted by carefully peening the plate over the ball to tighten it up. You can get dated replacement glass for this mirror for around $10-12 if memory serves me.
