Hello, I think I've got the facts straight on this but I'm wondering if anyone has made this swap before. I've got an '81 with a TH350 currently. I'm told that a TH200-4R (sometimes called a 200R4) is a direct bolt in and that I won't have to buy adapters or shorten the drive shaft (as with the TH700-R4). I only need the custom crossmember and a throttle valve kit. I already have the tranny and kits and plan to do the project this next weekend. Anyone know if this is going to work or have any advice? Thanks a million. PS. The transmission is out of an '87 Caddy.
